WHAT’S GOOD K! GRINDIN’! BUT STILL MAKING TIME FOR “SHININ’”
THAT’S A GOOD LOOK! EACH ONE TEACH ONE! You are most defintely doing your part Brua! lol. This lecture sounds like something “Kumasi” would post tho? LOL! JK.. I feel you on this K. this is deep.. *And long.. Good things usually are..* I will have to hit you back with further comments on this.. bc I can’t listen to it all now.. I got the 1st half tho.. And I must say TIMES HAVE INDEED CHANGED!! Or have they? The ppl that Malcom mentioned in his lecture.. GONE! Malcom himself.. GONE! And what’s left? His ideals and hopes that his words did not fall on “Deaf” ears?? We come a long way.. With still a long way to go.. The “Ballot or the Bullet?” Damn?? Well a case can be made for both couldn’t it.. Good reasons for both some may say? I say neither.. I say the correction for all that is wrong with this world is beyond both the ballot and the bullets!! It’s out of our hands to some extent.. What we can do is limited.. Doesn’t mean we should do nothing.. True. However, I don’t want to co-sign to the idealogy that “WE” as a ppl or as humans can change everything that’s wrong with this world.. It’s not gonna happen no matter who is elected as president! Everyone has their own agenda’s and most of them don’t include “Us”.. So what’s the solution? It’s interesting that in the begining (I will need to hear the rest) he spoke about how “Religion” is a private thing but the social ill’s of our society and our communties are “Universal” problems requiring “Universal” support for all ppl’s regardless of their personal religous belief’s.. Of course Malcom remains controversial for his “Frankness” of speech
Yet in this case I would have to agree that a house divided against itself cannot stand
and for those who believe the solution still lies in our hands?? The only way progress could be made in that effort is for all those “Groups” to come together? Will they? Like Donny Hathaway sings.. It’s been a LONG time coming…. I hope the goodness in ppl’s hearts prevail.. But ultimately my hope is in a HIGHER source!
